Rabat – Morocco’s flag carrier Royal Air Maroc announced the “immediate” launch of flights from and to Morocco and several European destinations to facilitate the summer plans of Moroccans residing abroad.
The company announced today that it launched additional flights from Brussels, Paris, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Marseille, Toulouse, Bordeaux, and Lyon.
Royal Air Maroc said the new flights will be available for booking immediately and will take place between June 29 and August 4 and between September 2 to September 8.
The company announced the news just a day after the company promised to launch additional flights on saturated European routes.
On Wednesday, Royal Air Maroc said that flights from Italy, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands are all fully booked for the month of July.
Following instructions from King Mohammed VI, the company announced new prices to facilitate Moroccans living abroad to return for summer holiday in Morocco.
Under the new prices, Royal Air Maroc offers Moroccans residing abroad a discounted Є97 ticket per passenger for a family of four or more members between Morocco and Europe.
A later statement by Royal Air Maroc clarified that its discounted flights to Morocco are available to all customers, including tourists, students, residents and visitors from the African continent.
The flights exclude Russia and Turkey.

Since Sunday, over 400,000 people have already booked flights with Royal Air Maroc.
On Wednesday, the company also announced the upcoming launch of additional flights to Brussels, Milan, and Paris.
International flights started operating in Morocco on June 15 after Morocco’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the country’s decision to open its airspace under conditions.
The ministry warned that the borders are still closed but the flights are part of the country’s plan to facilitate the return of members of the Moroccan diaspora for summer holiday.
