Rabat- The Moroccan National Motorway Company (ADM) advises drivers to watch out for traffic as travelers return home after the school holidays.

The company expects heavy traffic on all roads on Saturday 1. 2022 between 16 p.m. to 22 p.m., and on Sunday, January 2, 2022.

ADM suggests that drivers avoid  the roads during this time.

Otherwise, drivers must be careful about the traffic, as it is coinciding with the return of families from school holidays.

ADM recommends drivers download the ADM traffic app to learn more about the traffic situation at all times.

Morocco is investing approximately EUR 23 billion in road construction.

Increasing safety is an important goal for the ADM, which believes that extending the expressway network will increase overall safety, as the long-distance (and often high-speed) traffic is moved away from the national roads.

On December 30, Morocco’s government officially announced it will not extend the current seven-day school holiday by another week.
