Rabat – The Automobile Club of Morocco (ACM) organized, from March 4 to 6, Morocco’s National Rally of Diplomatic Corps, an event that brings together ambassadors, representatives of international organizations, and other diplomats, with the aim of promoting the economic, touristic, and cultural prospects of Morocco.
The rally takes place every year under the theme of Morocco’s friendship with another country. This year’s 17th edition celebrates the universal friendship between Morocco and Pakistan.
The three-day rally, placed under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI, took place across six stages. The race was conducted on paved roads, following traffic laws, in order to enjoy the art of driving and the various scenery in the regions, with Rabat serving as both starting and finishing points, respectively.
The participants of the event raced through the countryside of the wonderful regions of Rabat, Khouribga, Beni Mellal, and, in particular, Azilal and the M’goun Geopark. The latter has been designated by UNESCO for its geological heritage.
There were different stopping points, where meetings with local and regional authorities were scheduled, as well as “presentations on the economic, tourist, and cultural potential of each of the regions traversed.”
