Morocco Crowned Best Picturesque Country in the World

Rabat – Morocco was named the Best Picturesque Country in the World by the Embassy magazine-TravelJingles at the Diplomatic Awards 2023 in recognition of the country’s rich heritage and enchanting beauty.

The Embassy of Morocco in India reported that the prestigious award was presented by the Dean of Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of Eritrea in New Delhi, Alem Tsehaye Woldemariam, in the presence of high-level dignitaries from the diplomatic corps in Delhi and the tourism world.

The embassy also highlighted Morocco’s cultural appeal and famous tourist attractions, including its rich culture, breathtaking landscapes, as well as the dynamism, charm , and uniqueness of Moroccan cities and towns.

Morocco’s National Company of Radio and Television (SNRT) reported that the recognition reaffirms Morocco’s status as a top travel destination worldwide and provides an opportunity to attract tourism stakeholders and showcase the rich cultural heritage of Moroccan cities.

This latest award comes as Morocco continues to establish itself as one of the world’s best tourist destinations.

Last month, Morocco’s historic city of Fez ranked first on TripAdvisor’s list of the world’s best places for culture, and it was also listed as TripAdvisor’s Trending Destination for 2023.

Similarly, Marrakech has maintained its position as one of the best tourist destinations in Morocco and the world. The red city was voted as the eighth-best city for tourists in TripAdvisor’s Most Popular Tourist Destinations for 2023.
