Rabat – 23-year-old Moroccan football player Amine Adli, who currently plays as a winger for Bayer Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga, has made a pivotal decision regarding his international career.

Reports from beIN Sports confirmed today that Adli has opted to represent the Moroccan national team instead of France.

Adli’s journey to representing Morocco has been nothing short of remarkable, marked by his previous appearances for the French national teams at the U18 and U21 levels.

During his tenure with these squads, Adli participated in 18 matches, contributing three crucial goals to his name.

His impressive performances on the pitch have garnered attention from football enthusiasts and experts alike, making him a bright prospect in European football.

Born on May 29, 2000, in Vitry-sur-Seine, France, Adli began his footballing journey in the youth ranks of local clubs.

His exceptional skills on the field quickly attracted attention, as he honed his talents under the expert supervision of renowned coaches and trainers, setting the stage for his professional career.

The Moroccan footballer’s breakout moment arrived when he made his senior debut for Toulouse FC in January 2018 during a Coupe de la Ligue match.

His spell at Toulouse showcased his ability to adapt to different playing styles and proved instrumental in his development as a player.

In 2021, the young winger signed with Bayer Leverkusen, where he quickly established himself as an asset for the German side, contributing both as a scorer and a playmaker.

His speed, dribbling prowess, and vision on the field make him a formidable presence in the attacking third.

Adli’s decision to represent Morocco on the international stage comes as the national football team prepares itself for upcoming international matches, with the Atlas Lions’ head coach Walid Regragui set to announce the team’s squad list next week.

Moroccan fans are not only excited about Adli’s choice but are also hoping for the inclusion of another promising talent, Lamine Yamal, in the upcoming squad list.

There is a growing anticipation that Yamal will choose to represent Morocco over Spain.
