Rabat – Escalating violence between Hamas and the Israeli military has forced Israeli settlers to flee their homes, seeking refuge at airports and other safe locations.
Videos circulating online showed Ben Gurion Airport, the busiest in the country, witnessing an exodus of foreign settlers returning to their respective countries.
Hamas launched a major attack on Israel this morning, firing a barrage of rockets from Gaza and sending fighters across the border.

The attack has claimed the lives of at least 22 Israelis and injured more than 500 others.
In response, the Israeli military mobilized tens of thousands of reservists and began its attacks on Gaza.
Shortly after Hamas’ attack, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: “We are at war, and we will win it.”
Israel’s attack on Gaza killed at least eight Palestinians and injured several others, Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.
The Palestinian Minister of Health May Al-kaila has declared a state emergency in all hospitals, issuing urgent instructions to supply necessary medical provisions and blood units.
She said that all West Bank hospitals are fully prepared to receive and treat the wounded from the Gaza Strip.
