Rabat – The continued, merciless Israeli shelling of the besieged Gaza Strip killed at least 436 Palestinians in the past 24 hours, reports confirmed today.

The arbitrary killings come as Israel intensified its aggression in the Palestinian enclave with heavy bombardment targeting civilian infrastructure across Gaza and the occupied West Bank overnight.

According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, the total number of Palestinians mercilessly murdered in the past 24 hours includes 182 children “the majority of whom were from the south of the Gaza Strip.”

Israel’s continued massacre of Palestinians has brought the death toll in Gaza to 5,087, including 2,055 children, 1,119 women, and 217 elderly people, Wafa added.

Meanwhile, Israel’s aggression in the occupied West Bank has claimed 95 lives since October 7.

Given the international community’s failure to stop the ongoing Israeli aggression, many have said that the devastating death toll in Gaza amounts to a genocide of Palestinians.

The UN has repeatedly failed to pass a resolution calling for a ceasefire amid the alarming oppression of Palestinians and their deprivation of basic rights, including electricity, fuel, water, and food.

The ongoing Israeli aggression in Palestine has also destroyed buildings and illegally displaced thousands of Palestinians.

In its latest updates about its aggression in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli military also claimed to have hit over 320 “military targets” in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours.

However, videos and pictures show that the attacks mainly targeted civilians, with several footage and disturbing social media content depicting murdered children amid a deteriorating humanitarian crisis in the region.
