Rabat – King Mohammed VI extended today his condolences to the families of Ahmed Herzenni, ambassador and former president of the Consultative Council for Human Rights, who died on Monday in Rabat.
In the message, the monarch expressed his deep sorrow upon learning of Herzenni’s death, extending heartfelt condolences and sincere feelings of compassion to the deceased’s relatives and loved ones.
Recalling Herzenni’s human qualities, the monarch stressed that the former ambassador was among the “most faithful human rights activists.”
“His dedication and selflessness in various high-profile roles, particularly as the president of the CCDH, are recognized,” the monarch said, praising the deceased’s commitment to defending the values of freedom, justice, and equity.
