Rabat – The Gaza government’s media office reported today that the Israeli Occupation Forces committed six massacres within three days in supposed safe zones, where civilians were coerced to evacuate, only to be subsequently bombed.

These attacks resulted in the death of 31 people who were forced to evacuate their homes in Rafah City, southern Gaza, the media office said Thursday in a statement, as reported by Anadolu Agency.

The statement asserted that the Israeli occupation forces repeatedly forced civilians at gunpoint to leave their homes and neighborhoods, claiming the relocation areas were safe.

However, the Israeli army subsequently targeted these areas, committing massacres more than 48 times across Gaza’s provinces.

The media office emphasized that the “ongoing genocidal war on civilians remains a stain on humanity and a moral failure for countries worldwide witnessing these crimes without decisive action.”

The office called on the international community to halt the comprehensive genocidal war carried out by the Israeli forces against civilians in Gaza.

The Israeli military has distributed leaflets to residents, ordering them to leave certain areas and indicating alternative safe zones, only to target those areas during subsequent attacks.

The Israeli army has previously urged Palestinians living in northern Gaza to move to allegedly safer regions, including central areas like Deir al-Balah, as well as Khan Yunis and Rafah in the south.

According to the Rafah Municipality Head Ahmed al-Soufi, around one million displaced individuals have arrived in Rafah in the southernmost part of Gaza since the war erupted on October 7. However, these areas also became targets of Israel’s merciless attacks.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that its headquarters in Khan Younis was hit today, leading to seven injuries among displaced families taking shelter there.

The humanitarian organization later said that “intense and continuous” shelling by Israeli Occupation Forces is taking place around its headquarters and al-Amal Hospital. The attack has claimed the lives of one Palestinian and injured several others.
