Rabat – Morocco and Iraq are set to face off in the final match of the group stage as part of the Olympics 2024 today.
The game will kick off at 4 p.m. local time.
During the competition, Morocco made a successful debut, securing a 2-1 victory against favorites Argentina.
However, the Atlas Lions faced a setback in their second game, losing 2-1 to Ukraine.
Morocco today needs a win to qualify for the second round.
According to Sports Mole, the Moroccan squad will be looking to “surpass their performance in 2012, when they suffered a group-stage exit after losing once and claiming two draws to finish third in Group D with two points from a possible nine.”
The sports-focused news outlet suggests Morocco could win the game 2-1.
“Morocco boast a superior squad on paper and we fancy them to come away with all three points, albeit the odd goal,” the source added.
Many television channels and streaming websites will air the games.
On TV, fans can watch the match through beIN Sports Arabia 1HD, Morocco’s Arryadia, and Al Oula.
Other beIN Sports channels will also air the match, including beIN Sports Xtra 2 and beIN Sports Connect Arabia.
