Rabat – Moroccan air carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has been named “Best Airline in Africa” for the second year in a row at the 21st edition of the GT Tested Reader Survey Awards, organized by American magazine Global Traveler.
RAM said in a statement that this award reflects its continuous efforts to improve the customer experience, as well as its commitment to strengthening air connectivity and promoting Africa on the international stage.
“We are proud to have received this important award for the second consecutive year, which reaffirms our policy of continuous improvement,” said RAM’s General Director.
He added that their customers are at the heart of RAM’s priorities and are “central” to the company’s development plan.
“We have undertaken various initiatives aimed at offering our passengers an ever-evolving travel experience. This pursuit of excellence motivates our colleagues on the ground and in the air,” the General Director notedadded.
He vowed to maintaincontinue this “momentum” to consolidate the airline’s position as the leader in African air transport while contributing to the global recognition of Morocco and the continent.
The GT Tested Reader Survey is a global benchmark in the travel industry. It rewards the best companies in luxury tourism and travel, based on a survey of 20,000 people. Over 80 categories are covered in the survey.
The Oneworld alliance, which Royal Air Maroc has been a part of since April 2020, was also recognized at the 21st edition of the awards. It was named “Best Airline Alliance” for the 15th consecutive year.
Oneworld includes 13 airlines and connects its members to a network that covers more than 900 destinations worldwide, making it one of the three largest airline alliances in the world.
