Rabat – Kings World Cup Nations 2025’s quarter finals are kicking off today and fans around the globe are ready to watch some thrilling matches, with Morocco facing the US and Colombia taking on Uzbekistan.

The first match of the day will see Colombia face Uzbekistan at 6 p.m. GMT+1. Colombia, a team that directly qualified for the quarterfinals after strong performances in the earlier rounds, is considered one of the favorites to win the competition.

Meanwhile, Uzbekistan enters the match after securing a narrow 5-4 victory over Peru in the “Last Chance” phase.

The second match pits the US against Morocco at 7 p.m. GMT+1. Morocco earned their spot in the quarterfinals after an impressive 4-2 win against Japan in the Last Chance round. The US, like Colombia, secured a direct ticket to this stage and will be looking to maintain their dominant form.

The Kings World Cup Nations is a new football competition that brings together 32 teams from around the world. It blends traditional football with new formats.

The tournament is being held in Italy, with matches leading up to the final in Turin’s Allianz Arena on January 12.

The competition has introduced new elements, such as dynamic match formats and community-driven drafts. This allows fans to engage in team decisions.

Alongside traditional teams, the tournament also celebrates legends of the sport, including appearances by former stars like Andrea Pirlo and Gianluigi Buffon in special exhibition matches.

In the Last Chance phase, teams that won one match and lost another in the first two rounds had the opportunity to fight for the final four spots in the quarterfinals.

These include Morocco, Turkiye, Uzbekistan, and Mexico – who are joined in the quarterfinals by teams that secured early victories, including Colombia, the US, Brazil, and Argentina.

The winners of today’s matches will advance to the semifinals, scheduled for Friday, January 10.
