Rabat – Pennsylvania. The state that all of America has their eyes on as one of the key battleground state deciders for this 2024 US Presidential Election.

And, according to Associated Press (AP) projections, Republican Donald Trump is winning. With this vital win, Trump is inching closer to election victory, currently projected to hold 267 of the 270 electoral votes needed.

NBC’s election expert Steve Kornacki says that this is likely due to Trump’s unexpected success with Hispanic voters in various counties, among other factors. Additionally, Harris has been underperforming in the polls from Biden’s 2020 numbers in certain blue counties throughout the state.

With this projected win, Trump will have a hold over three swing states; Georgia and North Carolina in addition to Pennsylvania.

In Mar-a-lago, where Trump’s campaign is currently based for election night, premature celebrations have already begun amongst his supporters who are eagerly anticipating his win.

However, despite the outlook, Harris supporters at Howard University are still holding out hope that the numbers will turn around in favor of the Democrats.

“Anything’s possible and I also still believe in the goodness of America so I can’t think and don’t want to believe this is the end,” Howard freshman and first-time-voter Mariam Kolley said in an interview with AP.

She continued, “I have faith. I just hope my faith isn’t in vain.”
