The power of the will stands thus both as a referee in this interminable battle, and as a serum that keeps the intellect standing and fighting back, as money, standing intact, ceaselessly keeps striking it hard. Willpower gives hand to one’s intellect as it climbs up the ladder of refinement, while money pushes the intellect down as it stands few stairs above it.
