Moroccan National Education Minister, Mohammed El Ouafa and his Algerian counterpart Boubker Benbouzid expressed their unwavering will to strengthen bilateral cooperation on education and training, in accordance with King Mohammed VI and Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika’s instructions.
Following a meeting with Benbouzid and Minister of Vocational Training El Hadi Khaldi, El Ouafa said that discussions focused on educational systems in the two countries as well as means and ways to further consolidate bilateral ties in the area.
He emphasized the need to join efforts in the said field and organize meetings between Moroccan and Algerian teachers, trainers and students, considering that the historic, religious and cultural bonds between the two peoples can be further strengthened by joint actions.
Benbouzid said he examined with El Ouafa the potentials which both countries boast and means to make effective use of them, in the best interest of the two brotherly peoples.
The Algerian official said he was convinced that the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation, which will be signed on the occasion of this visit, “will give impetus to relations between Rabat and Algiers in the field of education “, notably in relation with the exchange of experiences and programs.
