Rabat – Snowfall in Ifrane has blocked the Michlifen road, with efforts underway to clear it. Traffic has now resumed on key routes, including the road between Ifrane and El Hajeb, after brief disruptions.

Abdelilah Azmi, the provincial director of the Ministry of Equipment and Water, said teams worked overnight to plow the snow that fell from Sunday to Monday. “All provincial services have been mobilized under the effective supervision of the Governor of the Province of Ifrane,” he said.

National Road No. 13, linking Azrou, Timahdite, and Ait Oufella, was closed but is now open between Azrou and Timahdite. Crews are still clearing snow on the stretch between Timahdite and Ait Oufella.
