Fez – In the pivotal final week of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), hosted this year in the Cote d’Ivoire, the DR Congo will face South Africa with eyes on third place.

The third-place match between the Bafana Bafana and the Leopards is scheduled for Saturday at 9 p.m. Moroccan time, at Stadium Felix Houphouet-Boignyin in Cote d’Ivoire.

Football fans can stream this clash live via beIN Sports, CRTV, Canal+, SuperSport, Sky Sports, and the SkyGo app.

The game will also be shown for free via BBC Sport and iPlayer platforms.

Predicting website Football Whispers puts DR Congo as the expected winners of this game with a probability of 42.1%. However, the Bafana Bafana have won three of their last five meetings with the Leopards, and further managed to keep four “clean sheets” (matches with no score from the opposing team) during this year’s AFCON.

Therefore, football experts believe that this is going to be an intense, tight game between the two sides.

Both teams never expected to make it this far in the competition, however, their strong performances since the group stage have put them as contenders for the title before both teams suffered respective eliminations against Nigeria and Cote d’Ivoire in the semi-finals.

The squads faced Morocco earlier in the competition, with DR Congo sealing a draw in the group stage (1-1) and South Africa winning in the Round of 16 (2-0).

In a devastating upset for fans of the Atlas Lions, both the Bafana Bafana and the Leopards passed the test against the AFCON’s favorites.

So, which of the two teams is most likely to emerge victorious on Saturday before the long-awaited final the next day between Cote d’Ivoire and Nigeria?
