Rabat – Air Arabia Maroc, the leading low-cost airline in the country, has announced the launch of four new routes from a brand new base in Tetouan, starting on March 31st, 2024. These new connections will fly to Barcelona, Malaga, Brussels, and Madrid.

With these new destinations, Air Arabia Maroc’s number of bases in Morocco now totals  six, including Casablanca, Nador, Oujda, Fes, and Tangier. The airline operates over 60 routes from Morocco, all with its modern fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft.

“This expansion reinforces our commitment to providing seamless travel options and value-driven offers to our passengers, while contributing to the growth and accessibility of air travel in the kingdom,” said Adel Al Ali, CEO of Air Arabia Group.

The new flights from Tetouan will operate twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays. Fares start from as low as 299 dirhams (approximately $30) for a round trip.

This expansion is expected to benefit both Moroccan and European travelers by offering new travel options at competitive prices.

The direct flights from Tetouan will connect the northern Moroccan city with popular European destinations, with the potential to boost tourism and economic activity in the region.
