Rabat – The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) killed at least 29 Palestinians across the Gaza Strip since dawn, including 19 in Gaza City, where a genocide is taking place despite growing international warnings and threats of sanctions against Israel.

Al Jazeera’s correspondent Hani Mahmoud described the situation in Gaza City as “extremely difficult,” with families fleeing under relentless artillery and airstrikes.

According to Mahmoud, IOF are advancing from both the northwest and southeast, effectively trapping civilians between two fronts and forcing them westward.

“People are being sandwiched in the middle,” he said, adding that many remain buried beneath the rubble of collapsed buildings while others flee for the second or third time in less than a year.

“Displacement is something that is breaking people in Gaza. For many, this painful journey of packing and leaving has no safe destination.”

The IOF continues to apply “extreme pressure” amid their bloody genocide against Palestinians, driving hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from northern Gaza into already overcrowded areas further south.

This deliberate targeting of residential neighborhoods and repeated forced displacement campaigns amount to a senseless systematic effort to erase Palestinian life from Gaza.

The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that 79 bodies were brought to hospitals across Gaza in the past 24 hours, alongside 228 wounded.

This brings the total death toll from Israel’s genocidal campaign in Gaza to at least 65,141, with another 165,925 injured, although the numbers are likely even higher.

The ministry stressed that many remain trapped under rubble, and Palestinians suffer man-made famine.

Hospitals in besieged Gaza City are on the “brink of collapse,” with dwindling supplies, the World Health Organization(WHO) chief says, as Israel’s widely denounced ground invasion enters its third day.
