Rabat – The Moroccan U-20 national team’s opponent is set in the Round of 16 of the FIFA U-20 World Cup, following the end of the group stage in the early hours of Monday.
The Atlas Lions will face South Korea in the Round of 16, with the match scheduled for next Friday at midnight Moroccan time (GMT+1).
If Morocco qualifies for the quarterfinals, they will face the winner of the Italy vs. the United States match.

Morocco started the tournament with a strong 2–0 win over Spain. Yassine Gessime was the standout, scoring one goal and assisting on the other.
In the second match, Morocco beat Brazil 2–1, with Mamma scoring a brilliant bicycle kick.
In the final group game, they lost 1–0 to Mexico, but they had already secured qualification to the Round of 16.
South Korea qualified as the third-placed team in Group B. They won one game against Panama, drew with Paraguay, and lost to Ukraine. The team plays with discipline, strong defense, and quick counter-attacks.
Their most dangerous player is Kim Myung-jun, who is known for his finishing ability under pressure and direct runs. He scored one goal from a solo run against Ukraine and provided the winning assist against Panama in the group stage.
