Rabat – The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in Morocco will present “Unmuted Morocco: What We Owe One Another,” a photography exhibition inviting reflection on solidarity, coexistence, and the shared values that unite Moroccans.
The exhibition will open on Saturday, November 22, at 6 p.m. at the Foundation’s Rabat office in the Hassan district.
The main goal behind the exhibition is to turn photography into a civic conversation.
Ten photographers from across the country will display their work, capturing the faces, places, and gestures that define daily life and collective belonging.
Each image carries a personal interpretation of Morocco’s social fabric, where diversity, dignity, and dialogue intersect.
According to the organizers, the exhibition aims to “give a voice to images” by transforming them into instruments of exchange.
The showcased works tell stories of youth, solidarity, and resilience, while also shedding light on the often-unseen narratives shaping Moroccan society today.
Visitors are invited to experience a country seen not through statistics or rhetoric, but through emotion and substantial human connection.
This initiative fits within the long-standing mission of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, which has been active in Morocco since 1969.
The organization supports civic engagement and democratic participation through projects that promote freedom, responsibility, and pluralism.
By creating an open space for dialogue, the foundation hopes to encourage citizens to reflect on what binds them together.
The opening night of “Unmuted Morocco” is expected to bring together artists, cultural actors, journalists, and citizens for an evening of discussion and exchange.
