Rabat – The Moroccan B national team delivered a strong performance on Saturday, defeating Djibouti 6–0 in a friendly match at the municipal stadium in Kenitra.

The game was part of the team’s preparation for the upcoming Arab Cup 2025 in Qatar.

Forward Tarik Tissoudali was the star of the night, scoring a hat-trick with goals in the 17th, 23rd, and 50th minutes. His sharp finishing set the tone early.

MidfielderYoussef Mehri added a goal in the 41st minute, followed by Marouane Saâdane in the 60th, and Mohamed Rabii Hrimat in the 70th to complete the score.

The squad is currently holding a closed training camp at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Salé, running from November 10 to 18, with 29 players called up.

This camp aims to build team chemistry and test tactical options before the Arab Cup. Morocco will face Djibouti again in a second friendly on Tuesday, giving coach Tarik Sektioui another chance to evaluate his players.

The Arab Cup 2025 will take place in Qatar from December 1 to 18. Morocco is drawn into Group B alongside Saudi Arabia, plus the winners of Oman vs. Somalia and Comoros vs. Yemen.

The tournament is expected to be a competitive stage for regional teams, and Morocco’s big win shows they are ready.

The win shows the depth of Moroccan football. While the senior team prepares for the Africa Cup of Nations, the B squad shows the country’s rich talent and ability to compete across different tournaments.
