Casablanca – What happens when a tennis champion swaps the pressure of the court for the stillness of Marrakech? Novak Djokovic is bringing his answer to Amanjena this December, with “Stillness and Strength: A Novak Djokovic Retreat,” a three-day wellness retreat built around movement, mindfulness, recovery, and ritual.
From December 18-20, Djokovic will host the experience himself, giving guests a closer look at the practices he uses to approach performance and pressure.
The program combines tennis, masterclasses with meditation, breathwork, and restorative experiences designed to connect physical training with mental balance.
An experience beyond tennis
Tennis remains at the heart of the retreat, where the 24-time Grand Slam champion will lead exclusive masterclasses, giving participants an opportunity to train with him, while exploring the discipline behind his game.
The experience then moves beyond the court. Daily mindfulness, meditation, and breathing sessions will bring a slower rhythm to the program, with Amanjena’s wellness specialists joining Djokovic to guide guests through the retreat.
A Moroccan wellness touch
The Marrakech setting also gives the retreat a distinctly local feel.
Guests will receive a “Beldi Hammam” treatment and a therapeutic Argan oil massage, bringing two familiar Moroccan wellness rituals into Djokovic’s approach to recovery.
Amanjena’s setting adds to that atmosphere. The resort sits among gardens, olive groves, and palm trees, with the High Atlas Mountains stretching across the horizon. Its clay tennis courts will also host the retreat’s on-court sessions.
Food has a place in the program, too. Djokovic will personally curate daily menus, adding nutrition to the retreat’s wider focus on performance, recovery, and wellbeing.
From the Caribbean to Marrakech
The Marrakech retreat follows Djokovic’s inaugural in-person Aman retreat at Amanyara in Turks and Caicos, where the tennis champion explored the connection between physical performance and mental wellbeing with guests.
The retreat also builds on Djokovic’s wider partnership with Aman. He joined the luxury brand as its Global Ambassador and Wellness Advisor in 2024, collaborating on wellness programs centered on longevity, movement, recovery, and mindfulness.
Now, that philosophy is heading to Marrakech.
With tennis, meditation, Moroccan treatments, and carefully curated cuisine woven into three days, “Stillness and Strength” offers guests a chance to step away from the noise and see what Djokovic’s idea of balance looks like when the match is over.
