Hundreds of conversation screenshots have gone viral online documenting anti-Muslims hatred and apology of terrorism by members of a far-right group in France.

The conversations, attributed to the neo-Nazi group FR Deter, include messages inciting violent actions and terror acts against the Muslim community in France, including the vandalization of mosques.

The conversations were tracked on encrypted chat loops on the social media application Telegram.

Tajmaat, a North African collaborative platform for diasporas, shared the screenshots, showing heinous and violence incitement acts against Muslims.

One of the conversations shows plans to attack a Ramadan iftar event, which is set to take place in a church on April 13.

The messages show the right-wing extremists rejecting and condemning the iftar initiative, describing it as a “provocative act.”

The threats and heinous conversation sparked frustration and concerns among the Muslim community in France.

In response, French Minister of Interior Gerald Darmanin said he had asked Telegram to close chat loops used by FR Deter far-right group.

“A report via the Pharos platform was sent to Telegram on Monday,” a source close to the minister said on Monday.

France Insoumise (France Unbowed), a leftist political party, has also condemned the far-right group’s concerning, racist targeting of Muslims.

“The revelations about Telegram loops ‘FR Deter’ are extremely disturbing. Far-right activists appear to have used these loops to plan at least one attack on our fellow Muslims when breaking the Ramadan fast,” the party said in a communique on Monday.

It stressed that violence threats targeting Arabs, Blacks, and left-wing elected officials seem to be “regularly published” on chat loops on Telegram.

“The Minister of Justiceeric Dupond-Moretti must immediately launch proceedings for direct provocation, terrorism, and for incitement to hatred, violence and discrimination,” the statement concluded.
