Rabat – Low-cost airline Air Arabia will launch a new air route linking Fez to Weeze Airport in Germany’s lower Rhine region.
The new flight will start operating from March 2, with “very competitive prices,” the company said, adding that it will operate two weekly flights Thursday and Tuesday.
The city of Fez is one of Morocco’s most attractive tourist attractions among both Moroccan and international travel enthusiasts.
This year’s “Tripadvisors Travelers’ Choice Awards” featured Morocco’s Fez among the best destinations in 2023.
The Moroccan city was ranked first in the magazine’s list of the world’s best places for culture, ahead of Jerusalem, Athens, and Dublin, respectively.
“The oldest university in the world isn’t Oxford or the Sorbonne—it’s the University of Al-Karaouine, and you’ll find it in Fes el Bali,” Tripadvisor wrote.
As Morocco’s cinematic landscapes, warm weather, and rich culture continue to appeal to tourists from across the world, the country has been consistently ranked over the past year among the best places to visit.
Morocco welcomed 10.9 million tourists in the first 11 months of last year, generating a revenue of $8 billion.
