As ticket issues played out this week ahead of Morocco vs Spain’s match, Moroccans in Qatar and those wishing to travel to attend the game have experienced complete frustration amid the lead-up to the match.
However, Morocco’s Royal Federation stepped in and distributed free tickets to Moroccan fans who were unable to purchase tickets due to a shortage in Doha on Monday evening.
The only requirement imposed by the federation is that fans show a Moroccan passport.
Additionally, FIFA allocated 5,000 additional tickets for Moroccan fans to attend the round of 16 match between Spain and Morocco.
Qatar’s Emir Tamim Bin Hamad al-Thani has also offered Moroccan fans free tickets to today’s Morocco-Spain game.
The Emir of Qatar purchased thousands of tickets to the game and offered them to fans who had been unable to find them at a reasonable price prior to the game.
