Rabat – Four suspected terrorists described as “dangerous” were shot dead by Algerian soldiers on Saturday 29 in the Algerian city of Batna, and three people died in an explosion on the same day.

The Algerian Ministry of National Defense stated on Saturday 29 that its forces shot dead four “terrorists” it qualified as “dangerous” during a Search and Rescue Operation led on the same day.

The operation that was conducted near Djebel Metlili in Tilatou commune in the southwest of Batna also ended in confiscation of four Kalashnikov type machine guns as well as ammunition.

On the same day, three reportedly people died in a bomb explosion in the city of Ain Defla in the north of Algeria. The three people, who were members of a group of hikers inside of a forest in the municipality of Hassania, were near the explosive devise as it set off.
