Taroudant – “Brasseries du Maroc” will organize the First Festival for Alcoholic Beverages in Casablanca from October 8 to November 8, 2015.

The organizing company is a Moroccan company which has been malting and brewing alcoholic drinks by the French enterprise “Brasseries et Glacières Internationales” (BGI Group) since its foundation in 1919. The company will reportedly, it will host its event in different bars of Casablanca, Morocco’s economic capital.

To ensure the success of their initiative, the organizer promises its customers “fantastic deals” and “gifts”.

Throughout this event, the Group hopes to promote its flagship product which has seen a decline in sales in recent years. In 2014, sales of “Brasseries du Maroc” recorded a decrease of 3.6% compared to 2013.

The festival which is the first of its kind in Morocco, comes only two weeks after Abdelaziz El Omari, a politician from the Islamist Party of Justice and Development, has been elected mayor of Casablanca.

Among other world festivals and events celebrating beer and alcoholic beverages is Oktoberfest, the world’s largest beer festival which is held annually in Munich, from mid September to early October.
