Rabat – Morocco-born Radiologist Latifa Gharbaoui has been ranked as one of the world’s leading physicians.
The International Association of HealthCare Professionals has recognized Dr. Latifa Gharbaoui’s commitment and expertise in the medical field. Her upcoming publication will be featured in The Leading Physicians of the World.
Dr. Gharbaoui is currently serving patients as a Diagnostic Radiologist at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. She is also affiliated with Memorial Hermann Hospital, also in Houston.
She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at Mohammed V University of Medicine, in Rabat, Morocco, in 1988.
She continued with an internship focusing on diagnostic radiology and medical imaging followed at Henri Poincare University in Nancy, France. Residencies followed in Morocco and France, along with a fellowship gained in France, before Dr. Gharbaoui entered practice in the United States of America.
Alongside her busy practice, Dr. Gharbaoui serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Medical School, and is regarded as one of Houston’s foremost experts in musculoskeletal and body radiodiagnostic solutions.
She attributes her success to her dedication to providing outstanding patient care, and her passion for radiology. When not working, Dr. Gharbaoui enjoys traveling.
