The governmental programme was elaborated in a way that addresses the lack of good governance, said Head of Government Abdelilah Benkirane on Thursday.
“The governmental programme, which we presented before the Parliament, is based on a deep diagnosis of the main issues that mortgage the future of our country and hinder its capacity to produce wealth,” Benkirane said in a response to Parliamentary Groups.
He put much emphasis on the need for good governance to ensure balance between innovative change and the continuation of responsible political strategies, adding that 10 already existing strategies were adopted alongside 20 new strategies and programmes.
Benkirane said that the governmental programme took into considerations all the requirements laid down in Article 88 of the constitution.
The programme, he said, has defined the cabinet’s vision and put forward figures and goals as well as the measures to be adopted to achieve them.
