Rabat ,07 February 2012 (MAP)
In anticipation of the intense cold that will hit Morocco as of Wednesday February 8, a solidarity programme was developed by the Ministry of the Interior, Royal Gendarmerie and the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity to help citizens in the areas that will be most affected by the severe winter.
The programme will target notably the region of Azilal-Beni Mellal and other areas that will be defined later, said a statement of the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity.
The programme is designed to help the population face the big chill that will strike the country.
The statement recalls that a similar programme was implemented during the first week of January to bring assistance to 33 villages in the mountainous commune of Tounfite.
