Foreign office minister for the Middle East and North Africa Alistair Burt met, on Monday at the headquarters of the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London, with Minister delegate to the Foreign Minister Youssef Amrani.
The meeting, attended by Morocco’s ambassador to the UK Chrifa Lalla Joumala and Britain’s ambassador to Morocco Tim Morris, turned on a host of issues related to means and ways to strengthen political and economic relations between the two countries.
The two parties also examined bilateral cooperation on different international and regional matters.
Amrani’s visit is part of the permanent consultations between London and Rabat.
Morocco and the UK agreed in March 2011 to set up an agenda for bilateral partnership.
