Tangier – The Moroccan Confederation of très petite enterprise- petite et moyen enterprise (TPE-PME) Very Small Enterprises-Small and Middle-sized Enterprises and the association of Young Entrepreneurs of Cadiz, Spain have signed a partnership agreement to develop business activities and meetings between the Moroccan TPE-PME and their Spanish counterparts.

To confirm this partnership, a delegation from the TPE and PME Confederation will be invited by the Spanish enterprises on the 14th of September in Cadiz.

The Moroccan TPE-PME Confederation is part of a movement that started in the early 1990s with the creation of Associations of Young Entrepreneurs, which in 2000 became the Confederation of Young Moroccan Enterprises “CMJE”.

The Federation is comprised of 33 associations from all over Morocco.

“With the entry of new business leaders, the name of our organization became the Moroccan Confederation of TPE – SME,” said Elfergui Abdellah, the president of TPE-PME Confederation.

“During this process we had many activities in all regions of Morocco. We also signed agreements with our counterparts in Spain and France,” he added.

“The signing of this agreement with enterprises in Cádiz is part of a strategy to create a business partnership between our enterprises and those of Europe, the Maghreb, Arab and African countries …” he added.

In July, 2012, the Moroccan TPE – SME Confederation embarked in a process to create regional offices to cover all regions in Morocco. The objective is to strengthen the presence of the TPE and SMEs in Morocco’s business sector with a view to facilitating cooperation between small business entities and offer expertise, training and exchange information, experience and best practices.

A meeting between Moroccan enterprises and its Spanish counterparts will be held in Cadiz on September 25, 2012.
