Venezuela’s main opposition coalition has picked Miranda state Governor Henrique Capriles as a unity candidate to run in the April 14 presidential election, an official said on Saturday.
“We have unanimously agreed to offer the presidential candidacy… to the one who was our candidate in the recent (October) presidential election,” said Ramon Guillermo Aveledo, executive secretary of the Democratic Unity Roundtable.
