Maroc Telecom Among 'Emerging Market 70' Ranking

Rabat – For the second consecutive year, Morocco’s telecommunication company ‘Maroc Telecom’ is among the “Emerging Market 70” ranking of the non-financial rating agency Vigeo-EIRIS.

Maroc Telecom maintains its presence among the 70 best companies in terms of social responsibility in emerging or developing countries selected by Vigeo, Maroc Telecom said in a statement.

The Emerging Market 70 Ranking is comprised of the 70 best performing companies from a reference universe of 800 companies from 31 emerging countries.

The global scores of the selected companies are the highest of their universe in the fields of human rights, decent employment practices, environmental protection, corporate governance, business ethics and contributions to social and economic development in areas where they operate.
