ISTANBULĀ  –Syrian regime forces continue killings as more than 1,000 people were killed across the country since the infamous chemical attack of August 21.

Despite a global outcry regarding the Syrian regime’s attack on civilians with chemical gas, forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad continue killings as more than 1,000 lives were claimed across the country since the infamous chemical attack ofĀ August 21.

SyrianĀ army attacked suburbs inĀ Damascus, Aleppo, Dara’a, DeirĀ al-ZorĀ and Latakia after the chemical attack, the Local Coordination Committees of Syria (LCC) said Wednesday.

According to LCC, 1,280Ā people have died, including 114 children andĀ 214 women alongsideĀ 40 more killed underĀ torture.

The Assad regime’s chemical gas attack on Ghouta, a suburb near Damascus, resulted in the deaths of over 1,000 civilians on August 21.

Meanwhile, pro-Assad forces have killed 101,513 people between March 2011 and August 21, 2013, the Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) stated. This figure is composed of 89,644 civilians, including 10,914 children and 9,911 women.
