Fez- Mbarka Bouaida , who was appointed on Thursday Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, was born in 1975 near Guelmim Laqssabi in southern Morocco.
Member of the Political Bureau of the National Rally of Independents (RNI), Ms. Bouaida was elected in 2007 for the first time in the House of Representatives. She co-chaired the Joint Parliamentary Committee Morocco European Union since its inception in May 2010, before presiding, in 2010, the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Islamic Affairs in the House of Representatives.
During the period 2008-2009, she served as vice president of the Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs and Rapporteur of the same Committee for 2009 Finance Bill.
In June 2009, Ms. Bouaida was elected to the city council of the Grand Casablanca.
At the international level, Ms. Bouaida was named “Young Global Leader” by the World Economic Forum in 2012. Since September 2011, she is Vice- President of the International Parliamentary Forum for Democracy. She is also a member of the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe, the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations and “Munich Young Leaders” of the International Munich Conference on Security.
Ms. Bouaida holds an MBA from Hull University (England), a Masters’ degree in Communication from the University of Toulouse and a diploma from the School of Management of Casablanca.
