CAIRO– Egyptian authorities prevent Morsi supporters from demonstrating in Tahrir square.
An Azhar University’s student group has called for a protest in Cairo’s Tahrir Square to demand justice for classmates killed in clashes with security forces.
“All Egyptian students are invited to join the rally,” Mahmoud al-Azhari, spokesman of the “students against coup” group, told Anadolu Agency on Wednesday.
The Tahrir Square is the epicenter of mass protests that ended Hosni Mubarak’s autocracy in 2011.
