Athlete of Moroccan Origins Poses Topless In the Cover of a Spanish Magazine

Taroudant, Morocco – The Ibiza athlete, Jadilla Rahmouni, of Moroccan origins appeared topless in “Interviu” magazine cover, with her gold medal, a silver and a yellow swimsuit.

According to the Spanish Diario de Ibiza, the the 800 meters champion, who said in the interview that she wanted to be a model, is already thinking about the 2015 World Games in Rio.

The Arabic script on the waist of the athlete caused an uproar among social media users.

Jadilla Rahmouni, an unfamiliar name for most, reveals to the magazine “Interviu” the difficulties to make a living in her domain.

“The situation is delicate, the amounts of scholarships, prizes, fixed, have significantly dropped compared to other sports,” the athlete said in the web edition of the famous magazine, as quoted by Spanish Diario.

“I have to pay my trips to go to international’ meetings’ though I am lucky to have my club scholarship and two sponsors that help me with materials and products,” she says.

Through her controversial move the athlete aims both to make ends meet and raise people’s awareness about the hardships faced by athletes in Spain.
