Marrakech - Algeria intends to secure its western borders with Morocco through electronic surveillance, after Morocco began constructing an electronic fence on its eastern border a few months ago.“The project of promoting the measurements of securing the western borders, via electronic monitoring is under study. The electronic monitoring, which based on technologically developed devices such as cameras, is reliable in supporting the work of the units in charge of guarding and security of the land borders" said the second regional department commander of the Border Guard (concerning the west of the country), Colonel Abdul Karim Sandy, in a press conference in Ouhran.
