Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg wed his girlfriend Priscilla Chan on Saturday, Declaring his wedding through a status update on the social networking site.
The 28-year-old billionaire’s wedding took place a day after Facebook’s initial public offering on the NASDAQ stock exchange on Friday.
More than 622,616 people “liked” Zuckerberg’s status change, which was accompanied by a photo of the newly married couple in wedding attire.
The bride has just graduated in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of California at San Francisco.
The couple met at Harvard and the story ended with marriage after a long love story.
Zuckerberg, whose shares are worth nearly $20 billion and who retains voting control of Facebook, marked the start of his company’s stock exchange at NASDAQ by announcing his marriage to Priscilla Chan .
