Meknes – The funding page of Steve Maman, the Moroccan-Canadian who saved more than 100 children who were sexual victims of ISIS, has been “suspended”, according to GoFundMe Media Director.
”It is 100% incorrect that hackers took down this campaign”, precised Kelsea Little, Media Director, at GoFundMe. For ”legal reasons”, GoFundMe has ”suspended the campaign and is working with regulators to resolve the matter”, said Kelsea Little.
”The gofundme page was hacked unfortunately, two days ago”, Maman had announced a few days after his campaign began.
American Internet users have shown a great interest in funding this mission. Many users have asked how to make donations. “Baroukh Hashem (Blessed be God)! How can one donate? How to help?” asked a Brooklyn surfer.
“CYCI is working on a new funding page. Meantime see his FB page above to find a funding page address, which is unique to YOU through PayPal. He had a funding page problem but will have a new page up soon,” said Stephen Newdell, who actively follows Maman’s Facebook page announcements.
The Moroccan “Schindler” has caused a great emotional wave internationally after announcing his humanitarian mission to rescue Yazidi and Christian children in Iraq from ISIS.
Tens of thousands of people reaffirmed their strong support for this cause. “God bless you, your land and your work, save the children, save the world, very amazing people touch by God to do amazing things to save the world, love, peace and prosperity must reign bless us O Lord!” said Rose Cabrera reacting to his highly acclaimed action.
In an interview with Morocco World News, Steve said that he plans to run his charitable action for a year. The Moroccan Jew’s action has so far led to the release of 128 Yazidi and Christian girls who were being enslaved by the ISIS.
