Rabat – Circle Oil, an Irish energy company operating in North Africa and the Middle East has announced positive progress of the Ksiri West-A (KSR-A) exploration well on the Sebou Permit, onshore Morocco.

Mitch Flegg, Circle Oil’s CEO, highlighted in a press release that “[Circle Oil is is] delighted with the results of the KSR-A well and that the exploration results achieved are very promising.”

The well will be tied to the company’s infrastructures and the production will be starting as soon as possible, according to the same source.

This gas production will be sold at fixed rates which are not subject to oil price fluctuations” highlighted the Circle Oil press release.

The well is located within the western-central area of the Sebou Permit, about 3.2 kilometers to the south-west of the main gas gathering station.

The company has previously abandoned the second well in its drilling campaign last months on the Lalla Mimouna permit onshore due to disappointing results.
