Rabat – King Mohammed VI has sent a message of congratulation to Ilyas El Omari on his election as the new secretary general of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM).
In this message, the sovereign extended His sincere congratulations to Mr. El Omari for his election as secretary general of PAM and for the trust placed in him by the party’s national congress.
The election of Mr. El Omari to lead the general secretariat of the party “testifies the reputation he enjoys among PAM members, thanks to his political career and his firm commitment for the defense of the principles and values of the party,” the royal message underlines.
“It’s certain, with regard to your human qualities, your competences, your sense of duty and your unswerving commitment to the sacred and constant values of the nation, you will spare no effort to consolidate the party’s position in the national political scene and promote the efficiency of its constitutional duties in supervising citizens”, the royal message added.
Ilyas El Omari was unanimously elected, Sunday, Secretary General of the largest opposition party PAM, during the third national congress of the party, held in Bouznika on January 22-24.
