Riyadh – The Morocco-GCC Summit kicked off Wednesday night at the Al-Dariya Palace in Riyadh, in the presence of King Mohammed VI, accompanied by Prince Moulay Rachid, and his brother leaders of the six-member Gulf cooperation Council (GCC).

Before the opening ceremony of this high-level meeting, the King posed for a souvenir photo with the GCC heads of State.

First of its kind, the Morocco-GCC Summit, which will be held Wednesday in the Saudi capital, will give new impetus to the strategic and multifaceted partnership between Morocco and GCC countries.

It will also be an opportunity for consultation and coordination of positions to take up the challenges and threats facing the Arab region, exchange views on regional and international issues of common interest and develop common positions on this subject, especially within this delicate regional and international context.
