Morocco World News traveled to the Todgha Gorge on July 9 to photograph Moroccans scattered through the 300m-deep fault enjoying the natural scene.

The canyon, sometimes called “the Grand Canyon of Morocco,” is located on the eastern part of the High Atlas mountains of Morocco near the town of Tinerhir. The fault is just wide enough for a river to run through with a narrow road beside it for cars and tourists to squeeze through for enjoyment.
