Fez – Petitioners have taken to Change.org calling for an investigation into a sex abuse case that occurred in Agadir in 1987, involving a Moroccan child.
The petition calls for Moroccan authorities to investigate the sexual abuse of a 15-year-old Moroccan boy by British Member of Parliament Mr. Keith Harvey Proctor.
During March of 1987 Proctor spent time in the Moroccan city of Agadir, where he resided in the Ali Baba hotel (now known as The Odyssey Park hotel).
Reports show that a hotel security guard caught Proctor with a 15-year old Moroccan boy naked hiding under the bed sheets after seeing the boy sneak into Proctors suite.
A ten-day police investigation led to Proctors arrest.
This was not the two term MP of Basildon and Billercay’s first run in with the authorities regarding indecent homosexual activities. A year prior Proctor was publically named by, ‘The People’ newspaper when he, ‘unmercifully thrashed rent boys in return for cash’.
The People’s investigators had found Proctor lived with a 20-year old male prostitute who he rented his London flat out to. Proctor pleaded guilty to this fact, but denied other allegations of ‘kinky games’ and sexual activities, purporting them to be monstrous allegations.
Intense investigation found Proctor guilty of gross indecency. He was charged for paying young males from the ages of 17-21 for, ‘sex and spanking sessions’. The court fined Proctor a sum of £1450. He was also required to tender his parliamentary resignation.
The crimes committed against the Moroccan boy in Agadir are receiving attention once again. Petitioners are beseeching the Moroccan authorities to start a new investigation into Proctors sexual dealings committed in Hotel Ali Baba.
