Ifrane – Morocco’s Al Akhawayn University and Bulgaria’s Institute of Electrochemistry and Energy Systems signed, Thursday in Ifrane, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic cooperation.
Signed by president of Al Akhawayn University, Driss Ouaouicha, and director of the Bulgarian Institute, Evelina Slavcheva, on the sidelines of the 4th International Congress on “water, recycling and recovery of waste”, this document aims to promote mutual understanding between the two institutions and to develop academic and professional training programs.
Under this agreement, the two parties will also exchange scientific staff, students and young researchers for study and research.
The memorandum is also meant to develop cooperation in activities benefiting the two countries in the fields of research and development, education, society and culture, as well as materials science, electrochemistry, water resources, ecology and environmental protection.
