Rabat – Continuing his comments about his final career fight against Dutch champion Rico Verhoeven, World Kickboxing Champion Badr Hari is determined to “end his career with a knockout punch.”
In an exclusive interview with Todd Grisham for Glory Collision Countdown, Hari said that “his opponent, Verhoeven, has “a zero percent of chance to win the fight.”
The 31-year-old heavy weight continued his statement, saying with characteristic confidence, “It is a fight [that] I always go for the knockout – you know, it’s like I go for the kill – and I do not believe in a second chance – everything is played in the first round.”
“I am an emotional guy… I see everything personally, you see there maybe be an easy sport, just a game… but for me, it’s not a game. You know, it’s all about survival and it’s all about, you know, being strong and about manhood. […] I see my opponent like my enemy… there is no time to be friends,” Hari added.
While preparing for the fight that is scheduled to take place on December 10 in Germany, Hari posted on his Facebook page a video scored by the famous rap song of rappers Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Infared and French Montana entitled “All the Way Up.” The video is captioned with “Nothing can stop me… I’m all the way up,” clearly demonstrating his determination to end his stellar fighting career at the top by defeating his opponent.
During his inspiring career, Hari, better known as “the Golden Boy,” has fought in more than 100 professional fights in locations such as Japan, China, Russia, Europe and the United Arab Emirates.
