Rabat – French-Moroccan comedian Gad El Maleh published promotional videos of the casting sessions for his new show entitled “Gad Part Live,” on his account Instagram account. The show will be broadcast on Netflix, the streaming platform for media and video on Tuesday.
El Maleh captioned the videos on Instagram saying, “To arrive on Netflix I had to go through all casting.”
Frank Underwood
In one of the two casting videos that have been published so far, El Maleh appears playing the role of American House of Cards character, Frank Underwood. We see him imitate Underwood’s famous gesture, tapping twice on the presidential desk with his Sentinel ring to assert his position and authority. In his version, El Maleh is seen adding his brand of humour to the infamous gesture.
Pablo Escobar
In the second casting video, El Maleh appears as the main character of the series Narcos, famous drug lord Pablo Escobar. El Maleh portrays him with a Moroccan dealer accent.
